Data controller
This notice is issued by GlobalCodeLabs (Begonya Sok. Nida Kule Batı No:1, Ataşehir, Istanbul) as data controller under Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").
Personal data we process
- Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), company name, the service you are interested in and your message
- Job application form: name, email address, phone number (optional), LinkedIn or portfolio link and what you tell us about yourself
- Technical data: IP address to protect form submissions against abuse, your cookie preferences and your language choice

- Responding to your request and contacting you
- Evaluating project and partnership requests
- Evaluating job applications and running the hiring process
- Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse
- Meeting our legal obligations
Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed on the grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: processing being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, being necessary for the data controller to comply with a legal obligation, and being necessary for the data controller's legitimate interests provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. Ticking the consent box on our forms constitutes your explicit consent for any case where none of these grounds applies.
How we collect data
Your personal data is collected electronically and directly from you through the forms on our site. Your cookie preferences and language choice are stored in your browser.
Transfers
Form submissions reach our team through the email and hosting providers we use. Your personal data is transferred only to the extent these services require and in line with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK; it is not shared with third parties except at the request of legally authorized public authorities, and it is never sold.
Retention
Contact requests are kept for up to 2 years after the request is closed; job applications for up to 1 year from the application date. After that, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

Strictly necessary cookies that the site needs to work are always on. You can change your preferences for other cookie types at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to; to request its correction if incomplete or inaccurate, and its deletion or destruction where the conditions are met; to request that these actions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to; to object to an outcome against you that results from analysis by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.
